One time I texted my Mother In Law a message that was originally meant for my husband. I was first day back on the job after giving birth and she agreed to watch our baby. Being the naive self that I am, I trusted her that when I asked her to wait for me to come home in literally two minutes to breastfeed, I thought she really would wait. As a first time mom and someone who really wanted to keep breastfeeding and enjoyed the small amount of bonding that I got as a working mom, this was crucial for me. I just texted with her two minutes ago and as I walk into the house my jaw drops. There she is feeding my one week old out of the bottle. My boobs were full and I was red from anger. I walked back out and headed back to my job to pump. She took those precious moments from me. As a highly emotional postpartum first time mom, I grabbed my phone and sent my husband an angry text. Let's just say it wasn't swearing free and rated R. I was so angry and upset that my eyes flooded with tears and before you knew it I pressed send. Let me just say my relationship with my Mother In Law has never been the same since.
"Mother In Laws please respect your Daughter In Laws!"
