Do an activity (weather permitting of course) that will teach your little ones to value exercise and instill healthy habits weekly. Through these fun activities you are not only encouraging exercise but you are also building family memories. Obesity is a huge problem in America and is only getting worse due to busy schedules, prolonged sitting, and lack of exercise. We can lessen the problem in future generations by teaching our children healthy habits and emphasize the importance of exercise. Our bodies are built for movement and in the absence of it disease can happen.
